Bit of a terminological issue here, but ultimately this should be merged with Raisin. BenKuykendall (talk) 15:17, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There may well be a better way to handle the overlap between these pages but deletion is not it. On one hand you say that dried vine fruit (which includes sultanas and currants) and raisins are synonymous terms for dried grapes, on the other you say that 'some speakers exclude "sultanas" or "currants" from the category of "grape"' (did you mean Raisin?). So the proposal to merge is taking a particular point-of-view. Regardless this should probably be a talk page discussion - not a deletion discussion.
