| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I have to say...this episode was kinda funny. I'm talking about the baptism thing that Myne and her friends got involved in. However, the episode itself did have some mystical elements including elements related to incarnations. Quite fascinating really. Oh and I think Myne looked adorable with her baptism outfit. |

| Spending 4 months worth of extra life for access to a library... She sure knows her priorities lol I love how she is drawn in general but she was particularly adorable & silly this episode. A nice breather after the heavy tone last time. Am glad she managed to profit from her Pound cake receipie. Can't wait to read and learn along side her upcoming library adventure! |
| Just what I was expecting. Books would make Myne rethink about her choice to just wait and die aside her family. I don't know if it's a mistranslation but the reason for not working with Mr Benio seems awfully poorly writen, but I'm still willing to overlook it just to see where does Myne story goes |

Rather than becoming an apprentice, it makes sense to just continue selling her ideas. |

| Another good episode. The second haf was very funny. When Lutz kept jumping it felt more like they were playing Simon Says rather than praying. |
| A rather light-hearted episode but a funny one at that. Myne is as adorable as ever and Lutz is still best boi. If these 2 don't get married at the end.............. Can't wait for next week's double episode, which will most probably cement this as my favorite non-sequal show of the season. |

| Great episode! Maine's finally found her heaven but it's still just a nod away. Looks like she'll have to rethink about life and death even though the first half of the episode was particularly heavy on this lol. Some really good comedy throughout the second half! Maine collapsing in excitement followed by that remark was hilarious! God, that Glico Running Man though, you weren't the only one laughing Maine xD. Subtle as heck, good lord. Some nice spotlight on Lutz and Benno-san this episode too! Benno-san really is the G, fudge. Lutz's mother's approval and then that him flattering Maine right afterwards, sweet! Frieda's convo with Maine was quite touching too and her tsundere-y is just on point. And hey, the Priest is finally here. Questionable little glare there from him but I think it's just out of pure curiosity than anything else. Got to say, that's quite an interesting little tale of the past though. Just two more episodes to go which are very appreciably scheduled for next week! Highly curious to see where this'll sign off with. |

 In most cases, the MAL Average Scores don't mean anything, here is a question: were the works made before 2000 all shit? Why are they so damn scarce in the Top 50? Think about how MAL is quite literally a filtered amount of the Anime fanbase. Here's a timeline of the Top 15 in which you can check that, almost always, the scores are affected by the freshness, popularity and other factors that have nothing to do with quality. |

| Nice of Frieda to buy the recipe of pound cake from Maine. That tale sure was creative. I am not sure if I approve Maine considering to become an apprentice priestess just yet, but great episode nonetheless. |

| Welp, looks like Myne's Devouring sickness6u is ravaging more than just her health, but also her business practices. And that puts Lutz in a standstill as his merchant dream isn't going away. For Benno though, marriage isn't so much an issue as is his family life, and it's sad to hear that the love of his life had passed on, so that's that. Hope he finds a woman that's close to his description. Breaking the news to Frieda brings a shock of stun, but all understanding was pretty much appreciated as Myne slowly sells her soft skills to Benno (for paper production) and Frieda (for soft pound cake) before her awaited baptism. At long last, the children's baptism ceremony, and Lutz sure maintained his manly self to keep Myne safe and accountable by his side, like a little kid's wedding (the ship between them just can't stop!). The worship stance...Glico Running Man and dogeza OH SHOOT...that was hilarious! And a library within the cathedral? That sure fits her description, but one large gold to bribe the priests? WOW...what a way to rile up her interests again... Great episode! Season 2 within reach just 3 months after in the Spring, more of Myne is always good. |

| Damn Myne I got the feeling that if you could sell your mom to get a book you'd do it. I wonder how well that large gold coin invesment will pay out with her getting access to so much knowledge, just thinking of what she could do with our world's knowledge combined with knowledge guarded by the church gives me hope that she'll find a treatment for the devouring. |

| Well this took an unexpected turn, from working with Benno and Lutz to make and sell paper and become a merchant to working for the church solely because they have books. Although to be fair she was told she only had a year at max before the fever comes back to claim her and she doesn't want to go into a contract with a noble so I guess she wanted to at least finally enjoy some books before that happens. Though come to think of it, if Maine proves to be a valuable asset to the church couldn't the church (with all of its influence and power) be able to get their hands on a magical item for her? (which I'm guessing is what happened in the episode 1 so I guess everything works out in the end for her which is good). |

| Just binged up to this episode these past 2 days but man I am so disappointed that I didn't pick this up from the very start, I've been missing out on something great! To think it had already gotten a second season announcement as well!! She found a library and already trying to buy her way into it, Main is just the most precious character this season.. | While watching this episode, i saw that Myne won't last 1 year...that gonna me unacceptably sad...then i see there's gonna be S2! then i;m rejoiced! something's gonna happen! lolz one large gold and the priest suddenly was startled...looks like money is the key! and Myne is one step closer to her precious! The promise and contract is made but there is no concubine status for 8 more years for Frieda. |
