Is Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan the most depraved anime of the year?
| Labeled as the breakout schizo-comedy of Summer 2024, Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan has taken the anime community by storm. Many found its premise and usage of CGI deer endeering, otherwises have fallen head over heels for Koshitan's hit single Soreyuki Ex-yan Koshitan. We live in a time where anime is more widely accepted among mainstream audiences than ever before. All seems to be going well. However, upon closer inspection, this show is actually a reaffirmation of all the degeneracies commonplace in the anime community, and nowhere is this more prominent than in the shows various love interests for its main character, Koshi Torako. 1. Noko Shikanoko (鹿乃子のこ), is the primary love interest, yet she is by all means a deer. One could argue she is more human than deer, but the show has demonstrated at several points that Noko is in fact a deer not unlike Tsunoda san, and that it is her deer-like characteristic which predominate and define her character. In short, this character caters to the bestiality fetish at best, if not the far worst furries fetish.  2. Anko Koshi (虎視餡子) is the sister of our lead character, adding a deeply incestuous angle to this series, as if catering to furries was not bad enough. The unequal power dynamic between Koshi and her younger sister, as well as Anko's depraved incestuous yearning, has casted a disturbing shadow upon this series. In short, this is the imouto-incest angle.  3. Meme Bashame (馬車芽めめ) is unknown, but I expect a vore/fat-fetish in there somewhere.  4. Neko Nekoyamada (猫山田 根子) may seem like the typical enemies to lovers scenario, but her appearance is clearly that of a small child. This is quote unquote "loli" bait if I ever saw it.  In consideration, this set of arguments I believe justify Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan's place as the most depraved anime of 2024. Do you agree? |
