| So obviously he cant tell anyone about Return By Death but couldn’t Subaru tell people he can see the future in order to make his life a little bit easier? He’s constantly trying to get events and people to follow a certain path all whilst not being able to talk about why he is doing it and how he knows what’s going to happen. I’d have thought that pretending he can see the future might give a plausible reason for people to listen to him about things that will happen without having to actually say he has seen it all because of Return By Death. |

| Subaru can't convey this information both directly and indirectly, which also includes paraphrasing. But still, most characters figured out by themselves that there are things Subaru can't tell even if he would want to and he may have some sort of premonition ability. |

| Satella is literally checking if Subaru tries to convey anything about Return by Death. It's not like a system that follows strict rules. |
| Maybe Subaru should just tell others how many seasons Re:Zero will have. Everyone's lives will be easier that way. Anyway, there can be many plot related reasons and also that Satella loves to choke him when she senses her opportunity. And then there's the witch of vainglory. He can't really sit and predict the future, as he has to live through it first and meet his end. But another reason I can think of is if Subaru makes it known that he can predict the future, he is going to get a lot of attention from people who will manipulate him, and he'd rather keep his circle safe as much as he can. |
| I think the reason the story bans Subaru from revealing that is that it gives antagonists a chance to counter his ability. Besides that, Subaru would be wanted by more than just current antags if they knew his ability. |

| I think he just can't but even if he could and he tried he would probably end up looking like an idiot because people would end up asking about stuff he hasn't gone through yet so he would struggle to answer. |
