Absolutely fabulous, I own the 12 inch vinyl and I treasure it so much, this recording has a extended version of Heaven Sent on 1 side and the radio track on the other, it’s one of my all time favorites and I keep it safely stored. I hope Stanley and Howard come out on tour and RIP George Duke. Thank you for this beautiful music❤
These guys have a real history together. Along with Jeffrey Osborne they hung out when Howard was still fairly new in LA and showed him support and friendship. Those were the days.
REAL MUSIC R&B balladry.....acapella only with piano and guitar. REAL MUSICIANS AT WORK DOIN THEIR THANG...Sounds like this could be an excellent Live Quiet Storm remix. George Duke, Howard Hewitt and Stanley Clarke rocked this!!! Love y'all 🎙 🎹 🎸 #TalentedLegendsAlwaysRule
There simply are no words... Love this beautiful song. I pray that Mr. Clarke and Mr. Howard are well. Mr. Duke, you are so very, very missed. Thank you for the beautiful music.
I wanted 2 be Howard when I was growing up. I was fascinated with his vocal range and ability to hit the highest notes with ease. Phenomenal vocalist one of the best ever. Rest in peace GD.

Can't Touch Old School Talent! No Autocorrect Here Brotha's And Sista's, Just Plain Old Vocal Skills! Howard Hewitt Is One Of The Greatest Unsung Hero's Of Old School Passionate R&B! The Legend Of Howard Hewitt Lives On!
I still say this is one of the most underrated songs Hewett has splendidly nailed. And to have in company the brilliant presence of the great Stanley Clarke as well as the equally extraordinary late George Duke puts the icing on the 🎂!
This is the music I grew up on this right here💖❤️ Howard's voice is like fine wine, it gets better with time, then you add the Clark/Duke Project, damn, amazing!!! 💖❤️
Everyone sounds good because everyone is talented. I've always loved Howard's voice, and musicians George Duke and Stanley Clarke have always been my favorites.
It's a shame that the current generation haven't seen this video. Wow, this is real talent. Like gemqueen1 said, "no electronic wizardry or computerised special effects. just a real vocalist and muscians jammin" Very sweet indeed!
George Duke and Stanley Clarke were an amazing duo. George Duke is so truly missed! RIP! I'm so glad he left us with beautiful music and awesome live recordings so we can still feel him here.
OMG!!! They just kill this!!! One of my favorite jams but I'd never heard this version before. Damn near brings tears to my eyes! Damn!!! Thanks for posting this masterpiece!!!
This song reminds me of an encounter I had with a homeless man who did live too far from my residence. It was in the summer that I would watch him go out early in the morning and come back with all his belongings attached his bike I feel that God compelled me to speak to this person. I built a friendship with him in that friendship I invited him into our home to have a meal. He was hesitant to come in because he said his clothing was dirty. I told him I’m not discussing your clothing. I want you to have a meal with us. He didn’t wanna sit on my chairs in the kitchen. I sit down have a seat. I sit with him and listen to his story but here’s the thing that really touched my heart the fact that he could quote the Bible back and forward better than I can remember some scriptures and he had a portable radio out that he would listen to that play Christian music. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to be with this person sometime a pass and I didn’t know where he was or what it happened to him. I asked all around no one knew my neighbors were still astonished that I allowed them in my house. I felt like it was one of those moments that an angel was presented to me and what I talk with that one passing by I’m so glad I didn’t pass by. I think Jesus for that moment I’ll never forget it and wherever he is, which I believe he is with Jesus may he enjoy his eternal rest.
Forget the typo errors forgive me for that, but I hope anyone that reads this will get the jest of my testimony. Angels do walk amongst us . Praises be to the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost.
Its refreshing to see a singer, pianist and base guitar come together and create a beautiful melody that is easy to become a classic. Simple songs like this one stands in 'stark contrast' to most of today's songs, beats, lyrics and melodies. For once, I'd like to see more of today's urban artists perform on instruments. I (personally) believe many will benefit and produce better quality music that will be a stronger legacy for themselves. R.I.P. George Duke.
This brings the world into reality. Food for the soul. With God feeding the vessel with talent. Thank you gentleman for respecting and sharing your God Givin talent. 💯
This song brings back great memories. Bought the album and later the CD (Time Exposure) because of this song. Having the chance to meet George Duke in person and speaking with him meant and still means a lot to me. All of his CDs are autographed by Big G. God brought home a great jazz band leader. You are missed.
